The small local mountain of Mürren
The 1,907 metre high Allmendhubel is a paradise for families with children. In only four minutes a funicular railway takes you up to the mountain, where the rustic Panorama Restaurant with its large sun terrace and finest Swiss specialities beckons. The view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau spreads out in front of the visitor, with the Bernese Alps and their glaciers stretching out beside it.
Opening hours
The funicular operates in summer from mid June to mid October.
In winter it runs from mid-December to the beginning of April.
The restaurant is open daily during the operating hours of the funicular.
The Allmendhubel can of course be reached on foot all year round.
Activities in summer
In summer the Allmendhubel is the hub of the hiking area. The mountain restaurant offers a spacious sun terrace and the funicular runs every 20 minutes.
Flower Park
While the big ones feast and enjoy themselves in the cosy restaurant, the little ones let off steam in the adventure playground FLOWER PARK.
The large playground on the Allmendhubel takes you into a fantastic world of giant alpine flowers, grasses and oversized insects.
Those who want to enjoy the incomparable view can lie down on one of the specially curved wooden benches and breathe in the fresh mountain air.

The popular FLOWER TRAIL is a wide path that leads past over 150 different types of mountain flowers such as gentian, alpine roses and edelweiss.
An experience for all senses - clear mountain air with floral aromas, magnificent views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and the endless peace and freshness of the Alps.

Activities in winter
In winter the Allmendhubel is one of the most popular destinations for a tasty lunch. The panorama restaurant not only offers generous portions, but also an expansive sun terrace.
Skiing
At the top there is the beginners' area (blue slope), which is equipped with a platter lift.
Next to the blue slope is the adventurous "Lilly's Kids Slope". There you will be greeted on the curves, hills and in the tunnel by various friendly animals.
At the crossing behind the Allmendhubel you will find the piste coming from the Schilthorn, the piste towards Winteregg and various downhill runs to Mürren.
Sledging
The "Bob Run" toboggan run starts from the Allmendhubel. It leads past snow-covered fir trees through the Blumental valley to Mürren.
Winter hiking
Between the Allmendhubel mountain station and the village of Mürren is a prepared winter hiking trail. From Mürren the hike takes about one hour. From the top down, you have to allow for about 45 minutes.
Snowshoe hiking
There is a signposted snowshoe trail in the region. The Chänelegg Trail runs from Mürren via Chänelegg to Allmendhubel and takes about 1h30.

The ski and sledge pass as well as the holiday pass include this stretch.
Location
The Allmendhubel is located above Mürren.
It can be reached on foot via various hiking trails in summer and winter. The walking time from Mürren is about one hour. From the top down to the village you have to calculate about 45 minutes.
If you are on skis, take the Allmendhubel funicular or the Allmiboden chairlift to reach the hill.
