4 Outdoor Pools In The Jungfrau Region

After a tiring hike, why not take a dip in the cool water - or simply spend a whole day with the family in the swimming pool? These four swimming pools in the Jungfrau Region are waiting for our visit.

#1 LAUTERBRUNNEN

Swimming Pool Bei der Zuben

Facilities and offers: swimmer's pool (4 lanes, water depth 90 to 180cm), paddling pool, small slide, water slackline, play area, rental of swimwear, sun loungers and parasols, restaurant/kiosk with snacks and drinks.

How to get there: bus or train to Lauterbrunnen, the Badi is located near the railway station, parking is available in the village, there is no parking directly at the Badi.

#2 WENGEN

Waldbort Sun and Swimming Pool

Facilities: Swimmer's pool (40x20m, heatable), paddling pool, sunbathing lawn, slide, playground, table tennis, restaurant with small terrace/kiosk,

Access: Train to Wengen, from the station it's about 500m on foot to the pool. Special features: the Waldbort sun and swimming pool is a listed building, the Männlichen cable car runs over the Badi.

#3 GRINDELWALD

Hellbach outdoor adventure pool

Facilities and services: 25-m swimmer's pool, non-swimmer's pool (17m) attached, children's paddling pool (8m) with sun awning, 45-m slide, waterfall with neck shower, bubble system, sunbathing lawn, play area, table tennis, changing cubicles, cloakroom, the water is heated by a solar system, fitness courses, restaurant with kiosk.

How to get there: bus or train to Grindelwald Grund, parking available at the Badi.

#4 MEIRINGEN

Outdoor Swimming Pool Meiringen

Facilities and offers: swimmers' and non-swimmers' pools, children's paddling pool with sunshade, 1- and 3-metre diving board, 68-metre water slide, swimming courses for children and adults, play area, playground, table tennis, table football, Badibeizli.

Getting there: Bus to Meiringen Alpbach Sportanlagen or train to Meiringen Alpbach, parking spaces are available at the swimming pool.
