The tennis courts that are on the edge of the abyss

Sportchalet Mürren offers 4 sand tennis courts with probably the most spectacular view of the Lauterbrunnen Valley.

At the beginning of July a tennis week with a professional tennis instructor takes places. Guests can also book the courts individually. All necessary rental equipment, cloakrooms and toilets are available on site.

Opening hours

The courses are open every summer from June to October.
During this time the tennis court can be used daily from 8 am until sunset.

We recommend that you book your court in advance, but this is not compulsory.

Prices

CHF 30.00 per court & hour

Tennis racket (for adults or children), full day: CHF 7.00

Infrastructure

On site there are 4 clay tennis courts, which can be rented separately. The nets are always installed in summer. The courts are located outside in the open air.
Rackets for adults and children can be rented on site.

The tennis court is part of the Sportchalet, which offers guests not only changing facilities but also toilets, showers and, as the host, accommodation with meals.

Location

The tennis courts are located behind the sports chalet in Mürren. They are built at an altitude of 1650 metres at the immediate end of the mountain wall where Mürren is located.
