It’s the ultimate winter dream – imagine standing on the 2970-metre high Schilthorn peak in the early morning, surrounded by breathtaking Alpine scenery and a freshly-groomed piste stretching out before you down into the valley. You might want to pinch yourself, but this is real and you’re in for a treat! The region Mürren - Schilthorn offers an extensive network including some 50 kilometres of perfectly prepared runs linked by a modern transport system. Travelling from Interlaken to the nearest piste takes just 45 minutes by public transport.
The Skyline SnowPark is quite simply the place to be if you’re a freeskier or snowboarder. They can really burn up energy next to the Gimmeln ski lift. Parallel to the ski piste are running two lines with beginner and advanced difficulty degrees, with a further expert line for the pros as and when snow depths allow. Numerous kickers, rails and boxes guarantee spectacular jumps and adrenaline-packed action. Annual events such as the training camp with the Hunziker brothers, the Acrobag tour stop, the legendary QParks tour and further highlights guarantee exciting winter seasons.
Fun on the slopes without end: From the coming winter season, the largest four ski resorts in Bern spice up and bring the Top4-Skipass into the market - at an unbeatable price. From 1 September to 15 December, winter sports enthusiasts can profit from the attractive offer. 666 kilometers of slopes for only 666 Swiss Francs are waiting for the skiers and snowboarders. The Top4 ski pass is valid throughout the winter season for all lifts and cable cars in the four areas Adelboden-Lenk, Gstaad, Jungfrau Region and Meiringen-Hasliberg.
Winter wonderland for hiking and sledging
Sledgers and winter hikers are also superbly catered for. Toboggan runs promise plenty of fun and thrills – always accompanied by views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Extensive winter hiking trails invite you to explore a completely different winter wonderland, with trails leading you deep into the snow-covered landscape, weaving through enchanting forested sections and out again into the bright winter sunlight – providing all the elements you’d wish for in a true winter fairytale.
