Grindelwald – Männlichen
The new terminal in Grindelwald was built in accordance with the requirements of the Disability Equality Act. The ticket office, toilet facilities and cable car are all on the same level. The new gondola allows for level access at the valley station, middle station and mountain station
Jungfrau Railways
A low-floor carriage runs from Interlaken Ost to Kleine Scheidegg, which is easily accessible with an (electric) wheelchair. From Kleine Scheidegg to the Eiger Glacier and the Jungfraujoch, staff are happy to assist with boarding and alighting.
However, it is strongly recommended that wheelchair users choose the more convenient route via the Grindelwald Terminal and the Eiger Express. There, independent boarding and alighting is possible without any problems. The infrastructure on the Jungfraujoch is largely wheelchair-accessible (including the Ice Palace).
