Guest information

Every guest receives a guest card from the accommodation provider at check-in. This entitles you to various discounts. The paper guest card has the same validity as the digital guest card.

The visitor's tax is a local tax payable by guests directly to their accommodation provider, per person per night. Children under the age of 6 are exempt from the tourist tax.

In addition to the visitor's tax, the Canton of Bern levies a cantonal tax of CHF 1.00 per night for adults to promote tourism, which is payable by the accommodation provider.
