There are over 20 toboggan runs waiting for you in the Jungfrau Region. You can try out the ‘Velogemel’ – a Grindelwald invention – and glide through the snow-covered landscapes on two runners, even at night. Have fun!

Sulwald - Isenfluh - Lauterbrunnen

Take the sledge on the cable car from Isenfluh to Sulwald. After a short stop at the Sulwaldstübli, the 4-kilometre sledge run takes you back through the winter landscape to Isenfluh. In good conditions, you can even go as far as Lauterbrunnen.

Allmendhubel - Mürren

Part of the James Bond film *On Her Majesty’s Secret Service* was filmed on today’s Bob Run track in 1969. The toboggan run leads from the Allmendhubel mountain station through snow-covered woods and the Blumental valley back to Mürren. A winter experience for young and old alike, with impressive mountain views.

Männlichen - Holenstein

As well as offering an impressive panorama, the Männlichen also boasts thrilling toboggan runs. The run covers over 1,000 metres in altitude, leading from the mountain station towards Grindelwald and on to Holenstein. When snow conditions are good, it is even possible to continue all the way down into the valley.

Are you in the Jungfrau region but haven’t brought a sledge with you? You’ll find what you’re looking for in these sports shops for a small fee. Alternatively, you could enquire in advance to see if you can hire one locally.

Safety first

Sledging requires no special prior experience. Sledging is fun for young and old alike. However, good kit is essential. You’ll need waterproof shoes with a good tread, warm and waterproof clothing, gloves, and we strongly recommend wearing a helmet.
