Lauterbrunnen Valley and Legend Museum
A look back into the past
To honour the old - to teach the young: in the Valley and Legend Museum you can see what a hotel room looked like around 1900, which skis were used for the first Lauberhorn races or what life was like for mountain farmers in the Lauterbrunnen Valley.
In 2019, the valley museum became the valley and legend museum. The mighty nature of the Lauterbrunnen valley has always made a strong impression on its inhabitants. Alemannic settlers with their Nordic-influenced mythology and immigrants from the Lötschental, with their Walser culture, have contributed to the development of a multi-layered folklore in our valley.
Visits and specific events can be booked at any time on request.
